United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering organization across power electronics, battery storage, firmware, cloud software, and systems integration. You will own capability, quality, processes, testing, documentation, infrastructure, and sustaining engineering.

This key leadership role focuses on building a scalable team that delivers reliably in projects and supports field products, while aligning with Product and Program

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in an engineering leadership role, 15+ year professional experience.
• Strong leadership in a technology-heavy product company.
• Experience scaling from ~50 to ~200 employees is ideal.
• Strong background in power electronics, battery storage, energy systems, embedded/industrial electronics.
• Experience leading teams in hardware/software/system integration.
• Solid understanding of engineering quality, standards and processes.
• Comfortable in a matrix organization with Product & Program Management partners.
• Strong people leadership with technical judgment and organizational clarity.
• Strong value mindset aligning decisions with value created for STABL.

Your Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and develop our engineering organization in a highly technical product environment combining power electronics, battery storage systems, firmware, cloud software, and systems integration.

You will be the disciplinary leader of our developers and own the technical capability, engineering quality, processes, testing, documentation, infrastructure, and sustaining engineering setup of the organization.

This is a key leadership role for building a scalable engineering organization that can deliver reliably in projects while also supporting products in the field to bring value for STABL.

Your mission

• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team across relevant technical disciplines
• Own hiring, onboarding, performance management, and capability development
• Establish and continuously improve engineering standards, testing practices, documentation quality, and development processes
• Ensure strong technical quality, maintainability, and engineering discipline across the organization
• Own the sustaining engineering setup, including support for field issues, non-major bugs, technical customer requests, documentation improvements, and small technical investigations
• Work closely with Program Management to provide capable developers into active project work
• Act as the key engineering leadership counterpart to Product Management & Program Management

Your profile

• 7+ years in an engineering leadership role, 15+ year professional job experience
• Strong leadership experience in a technology-heavy product company
• Ideally experienced in a strongly growing company, best case having lived through scaling from ~50 to ~200 employees
• Strong technical background in power electronics, battery storage systems, energy systems, embedded electronics, industrial electronics, or a closely related field
• Experience leading engineering teams in a complex hardware/software/system integration environment
• Strong understanding of engineering quality, technical standards & processes, and team development
• Comfortable operating in a matrix organization with Product and Program Management counterparts
• Strong people leadership combined with technical judgment and organizational clarity
• Strong value mindset and the ability to consistently align engineering decisions, team setup, and technical execution with the value they create for STABL.
