Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks a Senior Comms Engineer/Architect/Lead to own end-to-end connectivity design across programs. Based in our new Manching Design Office, you will define architectures, lead technical programs and coordinate with suppliers and customers to deliver robust Datalinks and CCAs for air power products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications/Aerospace-/Software Engineering or comparable studies.
• At least 9 years of professional experience.
• Senior Expertise in Connectivity Systems such as Satcom.
• Senior Expertise in System Design and Development.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, showing a great team spirit.
• Fluent in English.

• Support Customer meetings (German mainly)
• Top Level requirements generation
• Alignment with Domain Connectivity Strategy considering National Programs specific requirements

• L1/L2/L3 Requirement definition and validation
• Support interface definition of interfacing systems and equipment
• Ensure requirement traceability and coverage
• Support L2/L3 system test activity

Be a Founding Member of our New Be a Founding Member of our New Connectivity Design Hub in Manching Let's make use of your proven Senior Expertise in helping us building the "Manching Footprint" of Connectivity & Comms. We are looking for a Senior Comms Engineer/Architect/Lead who thrives in "Brand New" environments. Based in our new Manching Design Office, you will take the lead on end-to-end development—from first concept to final qualification of all Connectivity Systems such as Tactical Datalinks (as but not only L-16), Comms Managers, IFDL, IVDL, CCAs C2 links for Air Power products such as Fighters, FCAS, CCAs, MuT, A400M… Why this is different: This is the birth of our "Manching Team." You have the rare chance to bridge two worlds: the deep, established expertise of our Connectivity domain and the fresh, high-stakes opportunities emerging from new programs in Manching.
