Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching seeks a Senior Comms Engineer/Architect/Lead to build the Manching Footprint of Connectivity & Comms. You will lead end-to-end development from concept to qualification of Connectivity Systems such as Tactical Datalinks and Satcom for Air Power programs.

The role requires 9+ years of professional experience, systems engineering expertise, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Aerospace, or Software Engineering.
• 9+ years of professional experience.
• Senior expertise in connectivity systems such as Satcom.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Leading technically specific programs
• Definition and Design of the Connectivity architecture
• Support Customer (German mainly) meetings, Top Level requirements generation
• Alignment with Domain Connectivity Strategy considering National Programs specific requirements
• Suppliers Selection, RFP and RFI generation and analysis together with Procurement
• L1/L2/L3 Requirement definition and validation
• Support interface definition of interfacing systems and equipment
• Ensure requirement traceability and coverage
• Support L2/L3 system test activity

Be a Founding Member of our New Connectivity Design Hub in Manching. Let\'s make use of your proven Senior Expertise in helping us building the \"Manching Footprint\" of Connectivity & Comms. We are looking for a Senior Comms Engineer/Architect/Lead who thrives in \"Brand New\" environments. Based in our new Manching Design Office, you will take the lead on end-to-end development-from first concept to final qualification of all Connectivity Systems such as Tactical Datalinks (as but not only L-16), Comms Managers, IFDL, IVDL, CCAs C2 links for Air Power products such as Fighters, FCAS, CCAs, MuT, A400M...

Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Leading Technically specific programs
• Definition and Design of the Connectivity architecture
