My client who develops aeroplane engines is looking for a Senior Embedded Linux Developer who speaks fluent (C1 minimum German):

Are you passionate about modern C++, Embedded Linux and software architecture? Do you enjoy solving complex technical challenges across the full software stack, from low-level systems through to application development?

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing advanced embedded and medical technology solutions.

In this role, you will work on sophisticated Linux-based systems, designing robust software architectures, improving system reliability, and developing high-quality applications using modern C++ standards. You will contribute to embedded devices, networking functionality, CI/CD environments, automated testing frameworks and scalable software platforms.

What we're looking for:

• Strong commercial experience with C++ (C++17 or later)
• Solid background in Embedded Linux
• Experience with Qt, CMake and Git
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing and Docker
• Understanding of networking, system integration and software architecture
• Passion for clean code, API design and software quality
• Fluent German and English desirable

Nice to have:

• Embedded hardware experience
• CAN bus, networking or industrial communication protocols
• HPC, Linux administration or DevOps exposure
• Reverse engineering and low-level debugging experience
