Optimus Search is seeking a Senior Embedded Developer in the Munich area. You will be responsible for microcontroller and FPGA programming using Embedded C, ensuring all systems interact properly across platforms like Yocto Linux and RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Microcontroller, SoC, and FPGA programming using Embedded C
• Some additional python programming
• Ensure the microcontrollers and FPGAs are interacting appropriately on different systems (Yocto Linux, Bare-metal, RTOS, etc.)
• Error analysis and verification of the entire system
• Work alongside multiple teams (e.g. FPGA, Embedded Linux, Security) as well as stakeholders

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in Embedded Development using Embedded C
• Professional experience programming Microcontrollers, SoCs, and FPGAs
• Knowledge and experience in digital filters, bare-metal, RTOS, and Embedded Linux systems (Yocto & Device Trees)
• Useful if you have some initial experience with Rust, but it is not mandatory
• Fluency in English & German at B2 level is required
