EFT Mobility in Munich is seeking a motivated NPI Engineer to industrialize new EV powertrain developments with our engineering teams, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

You will drive PCB design, system architecture, and testing, ensuring data traceability as we scale production and build the digital thread for our safety-critical products. The role requires hands-on lab work, strong collaboration, and excellent English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.
• At least three years of experience in the field.
• Experience in PCB design is a must.
• Hands-on experience in an electronic lab environment is a must.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• German language skills are welcome.

Aufgaben

• Electrical System Architecture, Design, and Validation of Electric Powertrains.
• Define systems and component requirements in collaboration with the project management team.
• Conducting full PCBA development cycle: Design, Coordinating Manufacturing Process, Bring up, Verification, and Validation of PCBs.
• Collaboration with our firmware engineering team across all processes.
• Final PCB implementation with supervision of BMS and charger.
• Defining subsystem-level test plans and following test plans.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer to play a pivotal role in bringing our groundbreaking EV products to market. As an NPI Engineer, you will be the central figure industrializing our developments together with our engineering team, suppliers, and contract manufacturers.

Beyond traditional hardware ramp-up, this role is critical in building the "digital thread"\ of our serial production. You will be responsible for ensuring that as we scale quantities, our data remains structured, traceable, and ready for deep analytical insight.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Electrical System Architecture, Design, and Validation of Electric Powertrains
• Define systems and component requirements in collaboration with the project management team
• Conducting full PCBA development cycle: Design, Coordinating Manufacturing Process, Bring up, Verification, and Validation of PCBs
• Collaboration with our firmware engineering team across all processes
• Schematic design for BMS and charger updates, including bug fixes
• Schematic design for a combined testing platform charger-battery
• Design of battery simulation testbench
• Final PCB implementation with supervision of BMS and charger
• Defining subsystem-level test plans
• Following test plans

Whatyou bring to the team:

• Ability to work from our offices in Munich, Germany
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields
• At least three years of experience in the field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in PCB design is a must
• Hands-on experience in an electronic lab environment is a must
• Understanding of power electronics systems
• Understanding of embedded firmware infrastructure
• Experience with compliance testing and EMC
• A structured approach to work and project management experience
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• German language skills are welcome
