Kirby Group Engineering invites a Senior Electrical Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major data centre project in Finsterwalde, Germany. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and site teams to drive performance, manage risk and protect returns.

The role offers visibility, responsibility and a seat at the table, with a competitive package and opportunities to grow within a dynamic, international contractor.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within electrical or M&E contracting.
• Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical, life sciences or pharmaceutical projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contractual management.
• Confident engaging directly with clients, consultants and senior project stakeholders.
• Commercially astute, detail-driven and proactive in managing risk.
• A practical mindset with a clear focus on delivery and outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Full management and ownership of commercial and contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Acting as the primary commercial interface with the client’s commercial and contract teams.
• Managing project procurement, including electrical subcontractors.
• Conducting detailed cost control, forecasting and risk analysis.
• Reviewing all incoming correspondence from the client, design team and subcontractors, identifying contractually critical issues and initiating responses.
• Managing the commercial performance of subcontractors, including valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Producing accurate project cost reports, margin forecasts and cashflow reports.
• Managing change control procedures, negotiating and agreeing costs with the client.
• Preparing and submitting monthly valuations and certifications.
• Driving agreement of final accounts in a controlled and professional manner.

The Role

Electrical Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial ownership of a major data centre project in Finsterwalde, working closely with the Commercial Manager, Project Manager and construction teams to drive performance, manage risk and protect returns.
