Zusammenfassung

Mercury sucht einen erfahrenen Senior EHS-Berater für unser Büro in München. In dieser Rolle stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Sicherheits-, Umwelt- und Gesundheitsvorschriften eingehalten werden. Ihre Aufgaben umfassen die Koordination vor Ort, die Erstellung von Risikoanalysen und die Überwachung der Sicherheitspraktiken.

Wir suchen Kandidaten mit über 5 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich Bauleitung und besonderem Augenmerk auf europäische Sicherheitsvorschriften. Mercury fördert eine Kultur der Chancengleichheit und unterstützt Ihr persönliches Wachstum.

Qualifikationen

  • Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Verwaltung von Umwelt-, Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsfragen auf großen Baustellen.
  • Gute Kenntnisse der aktuellen europäischen Gesundheits- und Sicherheitsgesetzgebung.
  • Flexibilität bei den Arbeitsmustern, wenn nötig.

Aufgaben

  • Einhaltung des Sicherheitsmanagementsystems von Mercury.
  • Koordination mit der lokalen Gemeinde vor Ort.
  • Durchführung regelmäßiger Baustelleninspektionen und Audits.

Kenntnisse

Key Responsibilities Of The Role
  • Adherence to the project & Mercury Engineering Safety Management system
  • Adherence to relevant Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation
  • Adherence to Mercury Engineering & Client Environmental, Health & Safety Plans.
  • Assist with the onboarding of Mercury employees & Subcontractors as per Finnish Legislation – ensuring all relevant documentation is in place
  • Act as point of contact on site for coordination with local Municipality
  • Coordination in the development of task specific Method statements, Risk assessments, Safe plan of action, Permit to work.
  • Compliance with the project execution plan.
  • Coordination of project safety indicators.
  • Good Safety Practices are managed & maintained.
  • Ongoing C.O.S.H.H assessments, control of hazardous substances.
  • Ensuring that safety interventions are completed & registered.
  • Carry out regular site audits and inspection, document results and follow up on any corrective actions.
  • Maintain records of statutory inspections are available for project activities, tool and plant.
  • Adopt a Proactive approach to project EHS requirements.
  • Ability to work either independently or as part of a team.
  • Provide Safety input to site management & at site EHS forums.
  • Ensure project sub-contractors adhere to project & group EHS policies & procedures.
  • Ensure that Mercury Engineering induction & training is coordinated, managed & maintained.
  • Project PPE is resourced & available.
  • Compile & carry out Toolbox talks, as necessary
  • Assist or carry out accident investigation reports in a timely manner & ensure communication to Mercury Engineering project management.
  • Welfare & Hygiene facilities are in place, managed & maintained.
  • Liaison with site Project Management on environmental, health & safety issues.
  • Up to date documentation is included with the Safety File.
  • Waste reduction and recycling programmes are maintained in line with project policies & procedures.
  • Any other duties associated with this role.
Essential Criteria For The Role
  • Relevant qualification in Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Experience working in Data Centre Construction
  • 5+ years’ experience of managing environmental, health and safety on large construction sites.
  • Thorough knowledge of current European health and safety legislation
  • Flexibility in working patterns where necessary.
  • Ability to efficiently manage all environmental, health and safety issues on site.
  • Strong communication & computer skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and possess strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Good team-working skills.
