YOUR TASKS

• Development of front-row monuments for customer projects with a high proportion of basic development and platform development projects
• Focus on composite components (especially sandwich constructions) and corresponding joining and connection techniques
• Creation of design drafts and solution proposals for customer‑specific module adjustments
• Creation and processing of bills of materials in the PLM system (Siemens Teamcenter)
• Participation and professional consultation in interdisciplinary project teams
• Creation of specifications, specifications sheets, and design guidelines
• Creation of technical documents and design documents
• Control and coordination of module/component‑specific tests
• Work package setup and coordination of external contractors

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in the design and development of front‑row monuments or equivalent such as galleys, lavatories, seat‑shells, partitions, stowage etc.
• Good knowledge of crucial manufacturing technologies for the production‑informed design of honeycomb panels as well as composite, metal, and plastic components
• Good knowledge of various manufacturing technologies for the production‑ready design of fiber composite, metal, and plastic components
• Very good knowledge of a CAD 3D system, preferably CATIA V5
• Experience in dealing with a PLM system is an advantage
• Good English and German language skills in both spoken and written
• Goal orientation, independent, and methodically structured way of working
