Jobtailor is seeking an Architect to design, build, and deploy live-fire cyber ranges and threat-hunting labs for enterprise training.

You will collaborate with engineers across product, infrastructure, and marketing to craft engaging, hands-on experiences. The role emphasizes defensive security, forensics, and malware analysis, with a focus on scalable cyber range content and real-world threat emulation.

Qualifikationen

• Expert proficiency with defensive security tools (SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Volatility, Autopsy, IDA).
• Expertise in detection engineering, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
• Design content for Cyber Ranges, Capture The Flag events, or interactive learning.
• Deep understanding of OS internals, enterprise apps, and system administration.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware and Cloud platforms.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in Defensible SOC/SecOps/Incident Response.
• Practical expertise with Terraform and Ansible (bonus).
• Content collaboration experience preferred; prior offensive/defensive content work may help.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency with defensive security tools, including SIEM, EDR, Wireshark, Volatility, Autopsy, and IDA
• Expertise in detection engineering, digital forensics, and malware analysis
• Proven track record designing content for Cyber Ranges, Capture The Flag (CTF) events, or interactive learning platforms
• Deep understanding of OS internals, enterprise applications, and system administration
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, and Cloud platforms
• Self-motivated, structured, and passionate about cybersecurity education and gamified learning
• Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in real-world Defensive Security Operations, SecOps, SOC, or Incident Response (bonus)
• Practical expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible (bonus)
• Preference may be given to individuals who have submitted content previously or can showcase related offensive or defensive content engineering work
