Your mission

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our Data-Team at our headquarters in Leipzig, supporting the development, optimization, and maintenance of a high-performancedata platform. If you have experience in building modern data warehouse structures and enjoy turning complexdata models into efficient, scalable solutions, then this is the right place for you. Here is what awaits you:

• Develop and maintain complex data models in Snowflake (e.g. star or snowflake schema)
• Design and conceptualize data architectures and models for analytical applications
• Implement business logic and data transformations using dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Ensure data quality and data integrity through automated tests
• Drive performance optimization of the data warehouse and continuous process improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation of our data models
• Support our Junior Developers through code reviews and mentoring, promoting best practices
• Take on subproject leadership, including planning, coordination, and execution

Your profile

• Ideally, you have a degree in a STEMfield
• Several years of professional experience (5+ years) in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, orData Warehousing
• Very good German(minimum C1) andEnglish skills (minimum C1)
• Strong expertise in SQL, Snowflake, PySpark, and dbt, with hands-on experience in data model design
• Knowledge of data integration and connecting various data sources
• Solid understanding of Data Governance, testing, and automated workflows
• Independent and proactiveworking style with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to document clearly and communicate technical topics effectively
• Willingness to workon-site at our Leipzig-Plagwitz headquarters at leastthree days per week
