The Data Science team is working on digital transformation processes, data products, customer-specific solutions in Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Reporting/Visualization, and building a Data Lake and Analytics Platform.
We are looking for a (Senior) Data Scientist (f/m/d) to join our Data Science department at our Munich or Hamburg location as soon as possible.
Your role and tasks
As a (Senior) Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data warehouse and analytics platform. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative data science solutions that drive business growth and generate insights for clients across industries.
You will explore diverse data sets, work with advanced algorithms and technologies, and develop solutions that provide new insights for our clients.
You will develop and maintain our data warehouse and analytics platform using Python and Google Cloud-based data engineering architecture.
You will optimize data processing pipelines for large, multi-country projects, focusing on standardization and automation.
You will design and implement software solutions for analyzing structured and unstructured data from surveys, customer data warehouses, and other sources.
You will advise stakeholders on efficient data processes and decision-making, translating data into insights using methods like regression, cluster analysis, conjoint modeling, neural networks, Bayesian modeling, and more.
You will work with tools such as Python, Docker, Google Cloud, Tableau, and Sawtooth, developing automation solutions for complex analytics processes.
Your profile
You have over 3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analytics, with expertise in multivariate data analysis and visualization, and a curiosity for new technologies.
You possess strong Python skills and experience with libraries like pandas, numpy, sklearn, and are familiar with ETL/ELT processes, data exchange protocols, interfaces, and formats. Experience with database systems/SQL, GCP, and agile teams is a plus.
You hold a quantitative degree (e.g., STEM, Social Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
You are a team player, proactive, structured, meticulous, and possess a consulting mindset. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.
