The role centers on migrating analytical environments to Google Cloud Platform and building a modern data platform to power advanced analytics and future AI/LLM solutions. You will design governance processes, maintain data catalogs, and define metadata models while ensuring appropriate data access controls.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of professional experience with Google Cloud Platform in a Data Engineer or Data Governance role.
• Strong expertise in metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance concepts.
• Experience documenting designs and participating in solution reviews.

This role focuses on migrating analytical environments to Google Cloud Platform and building a modern data platform that supports advanced analytics and future AI/LLM solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust Data Governance processes and standards within the GCP environment.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data catalog solutions and metadata management processes.
• Define metadata models, data catalog structures, and relationships between data assets.
• Define, document, and enforce data access management policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and business stakeholders to improve data governance maturity.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience with Google Cloud Platform in a Data Engineer or Data Governance role.
• Strong expertise in BigQuery, Dataplex, Data Catalog, and metadata management.
• Solid understanding of data lineage, data quality frameworks, and data ownership processes.
• Proven ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and data owners.
• Experience in creating technical documentation and participating in solution design and code reviews.
