eleQtron develops and operates full-stack quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Quantum computing is a new computing paradigm rapidly approaching commercial viability. Our unique approach combines laser-cooled trapped ions with microwave control and tailored magnetic fields. Our next-generation computing machines under development will be able to find solutions to problems that are out of reach today, thus enabling new innovative products and services for a brighter future.

We are looking for a Senior Controller (f/m/d).

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Controller, you will work on financial planning, reporting, and analysis. Working closely with management and the finance team, you’ll provide clear insights and reliable data to inform business decisions and continuously improve our controlling processes. Depending on your level of experience, you will work on one or more of the followingtasks:

• Design and manage financial models for forecasting, planning, and budgeting

• Prepare and analyze cash flow reports, budgets, and financial KPIs

• Develop and maintain dashboards and internal reports for management

• Manage financial reporting of our public grant projects

• Collaborate with Accounting to support monthly and annual closings

• Ensure financial reporting accuracy according to HGB

• Set up and improve controlling tools, processes and documentation

• Monitor cost structures and inventory to support operational decisions

Required skills:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in controlling, finance, or a related field

• 4+ years of experience in controlling or finance roles

• Strong understanding of HGB accounting standards

• Practical experience with forecasting, cashflow planning, and financial reporting

• Solid grasp of balance sheet logic and inventory-related data

• Advanced Excel skills

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
