We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Controller (all genders) to join our dynamic international finance team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for financial oversight across multiple European entities and play a key part in enhancing our controlling processes.

Your responsibilities
  • Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and monitoring forecasts and budgets for various countries within Europe
  • Ad hoc analyses for the management
  • Carrying out variance analyses and deriving recommendations for action
  • Support with strategic financial projects
  • Further development of controlling instruments, independent realisation of own projects to improve finance processes
  • Liaising with international subsidiaries and internal stakeholders
  • Reporting to management in German and English
  • Cash Flow statements analysis
  • Balance sheet variance analysis
  • Close cooperation with the accounting department, the parent company in the UK and the other European DUAL units
  • Use of Excel for modelling, analysis and visualisation of complex data
Your profile
  • Strong degree in business administration, finance or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the insurance industry
  • Experience in consulting / advisory services could be beneficial
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel (incl. Pivot, Power Query, complex formulas)
  • Experience in international companies and multicultural teams
