Privatal, a private equity-backed group in Frankfurt, is seeking a Senior Controller to lead group consolidation and forward-looking FP&A. The role combines financial reporting with commercial insight to enable leadership to make better decisions.

You will consolidate monthly, drive budgeting and forecasting, perform variance and KPI analysis, and partner with operational leaders to improve performance.

We are working with a private equity-backed group in Frankfurt to appoint a Senior Controller. The business is executing an ambitious buy-and-build strategy and requires a commercially minded controller who can bring together financial information from across the group, improve visibility and help leadership make better decisions.

This is a broad position combining group consolidation with forward looking FP&A.

The role will cover:

• Monthly group consolidation and management reporting
• Budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning
• Performance analysis across multiple entities and business units
• Variance analysis, KPI reporting and management commentary
• Cash-flow, working-capital and profitability analysis
• Supporting board, lender and investor reporting
• Building financial models and scenario analyses
• Integrating acquired businesses into group reporting
• Improving BI tools, reporting processes and data quality
• Partnering with operational leaders to improve performance

We are looking for someone who combines strong consolidation and controlling fundamentals with a genuinely commercial mindset. Experience within a PE-backed, multi-entity or acquisition-led business would be highly relevant.
