Your role in the journey

As Senior Contract Manager in Semco Maritime, you will be part of our dedicated Contract Management Team. Our mission is to secure effective, compliant and value‑creating contract execution across large‑scale renewable energy projects.


You will work closely with our project teams and stakeholders to navigate complex contractual landscapes – ensuring risks are managed, obligations are met, and opportunities are maximized.


Your location can be at one of our offices in Hamburg, Bremen or Emden – depending on your preference. Some travel will be part of the role.

What you will be doing

Contract life cycle management


  • Negotiating drafting and managing large scale service contracts, including flow‑down requirements to subcontractors and suppliers

  • Identifying and mitigating commercial risks in collaboration with project teams

  • Managing invoicing and payment milestones to ensure timely cash flow


Project & stakeholder support


  • Acting as a trusted advisor to project managers and commercial teams

  • Preparing clear management reports and ensuring transparent communication


Continuous improvement & knowledge sharing


  • Contributing to the development of our contract management framework

  • Sharing lessons learned and best practices across the organization


What you bring


  • Master’s degree in Law, Commercial Law or Business

  • Solid experience with contract and claim management in offshore/marine environments

  • Familiarity with large‑scale service contracts in the offshore or related industries

  • Fluency in German and English – written and spoken

  • A proactive, structured, and collaborative approach with a strong sense of responsibility
