Qestit AG in Germany seeks a Senior Consultant Test Automation Engineer to lead the design, development and optimisation of automated tests across projects. You will mentor testers and drive quality improvements in client engagements.

Required are 6+ years in software testing, advanced automation tool skills (TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex) and programming experience in Java, C#, C++, Groovy Script. Fluent German (C1) and ISTQB certification are expected.

As a Senior Consultant Test Automation Engineer, you are responsible for the development and optimisation of automated tests as well as making a significant contribution to improving quality in various projects. With your long-standing experience and expertise in test automation solutions, you advise our clients and lead a team of testers.

Responsibilities

You design, develop and maintain automated test cases (UI and services) within the client’s tool ecosystem.

Furthermore, you carry out the tests, analyse the results and use them to continuously improve test coverage and software quality.

With your expertise, you run tool evaluations to select the appropriate test automation solutions for the project.

With the help of customised test automation concepts, you optimise the progress of our client projects.

You are a mentor and coordinator for other testers and take on the role of Lead Test Automation Engineer.

Qualifications

You have 6 years of experience in software testing, ideally with a focus on automated testing.

In addition, you have acquired advanced skills in at least two test automation tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex or similar.

You bring programming experience in languages such as Java, C#, C++, Groovy Script or comparable technologies.

Strong client and service orientation and confident communication skills make you an excellent team player.
