Job summary

Qestit AG in Germany is looking for a Senior Consultant Penetration Testing to execute, manage and assess pentests, translate findings into robust security concepts, and deliver clear recommendations to clients.

You will lead engagements, mentor junior pent testers, write reports and present results to management. Remote work is available with travel for on-site engagements as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT security experience with several years in penetration testing.
• Certifications such as OSEP, OSCP or equivalent.
• Fluent German and English; strong written and spoken communication.
• Willingness to travel for client engagements and meetings.

• Carry out penetration tests, lead them and assess their results.
• Analyse vulnerabilities and develop attack scenarios.
• Derive robust security concepts and policies based on analyses.
• Advise clients on implementation and writing meaningful reports.

As a Senior Consultant Penetration Testing, you take responsibility for penetration tests from execution to assessment, analyse vulnerabilities and advise our clients on implementation to protect their systems against real attacks.

Responsibilities

You carry out penetration tests, lead them and assess their results.

In doing so, you analyse vulnerabilities and develop attack scenarios.

Based on your analyses, you derive robust security concepts and policies.

Advising our clients on implementation falls within your area of responsibility, as does writing meaningful reports.

You present concepts, solutions and results.

Within the project team, you take on leadership and the mentoring of junior pentesters when needed.

Qualifications

You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or business informatics, or can demonstrate comparable training.

Your expertise includes at least 5 years of professional experience in IT security, several of them in penetration testing.

Tools and methods for vulnerability analysis are part of your toolbox, as is in-depth knowledge of attack techniques and defensive measures.

Across IT infrastructure, networks, and web and application security, you bring solid knowledge.

You hold certifications such as OSEP, OSCP or equivalent.

Very good written and spoken German and English come naturally to you.

With your strong communication skills, you win people over and explain technical content clearly, including at management level.
