Diconium Data GmbH is seeking a senior leader for its Data Engineering & Data Architecture team in Berlin. You will guide data-driven projects across multiple industries, balancing technical leadership with account and project management to ensure outcomes.

You will steer strategic and technical planning for modern data solutions, collaborate in a cloud environment, and mentor a diverse team while driving ownership and performance.

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture, ideally in cloud environments.
• Experience in consulting-intensive roles and collaboration with large organizations.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics to business units, IT and management.
• Proven leadership experience, either disciplinary or functional.
• First or bilingual proficiency in German and English.

• You lead an international, cross-functional Data Engineering & Data Architecture team within the diconium data unit in Berlin and drive forward complex, data-driven business solutions.
• In addition to your technical leadership, you take on project and account management responsibilities, ensuring high customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
• You advise our clients both strategically and technically in the planning, development, and further enhancement of modern data solutions.
• In a cloud-based environment, you collaborate closely with product teams to shape visions and turn roadmaps into reality.
• With your passion for data and technology, you continuously analyze trends and developments to identify new opportunities and insights.
• You actively contribute to building an open and positive team culture, where motivation, ownership, and performance are encouraged and valued.

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

• You have several years of experience in Data Engineering and/or Data Architecture – ideally in cloud environments.
• You have worked in consulting-intensive roles – either at a consulting firm or within stakeholder-heavy corporate projects – and are familiar with the dynamics of large organizations.
• You have experience working with business units, IT, and management, and can communicate complex technical topics appropriately for different audiences.
• You bring leadership experience – whether disciplinary or functional.
• You are solution-oriented, think with an entrepreneurial mindset, and enjoy taking responsibility and driving initiatives forward.
• You have a first or bilingual proficiency in both German and English.
