Zusammenfassung

Qualifikationen

  • Must be a US Citizen possessing an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II baseline certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with 5+ years in scalable distributed systems.
  • 3+ years leading project design or technical architecture within a complex organization.
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, Bash.
  • Deep expertise with Docker and Kubernetes including container registries.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Strong cloud networking (VPCs, load balancing) and security in GCP.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer and Architect certifications.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering/CS.
  • Google Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with Apache Spark or Airflow.

Aufgaben

  • Architect and develop scalable, secure software tools and microservices for a cloud-native environment.
  • Lead design of software subsystems, promote code reuse, and set engineering standards.
  • Develop and integrate APIs that expose AI/ML model outputs for enterprise apps.

The Opportunity:

As a CACI Senior Cloud Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions for a mission-critical, cloud-native ecosystem. This role sits inside the HTAP program team and is responsible for translating complex mission requirements into robust, reusable, and secure software tools and subsystems on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop scalable, resilient, and secure software tools and microservices for a cloud-native environment.
  • Lead the design of software subsystems, promote code reuse, and set technical standards for the engineering team.
  • Develop and integrate custom APIs, including those that expose AI/ML model outputs for enterprise applications.
  • Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters and Confidential Compute instances, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated building, testing, and deployment of software.
  • Establish and manage comprehensive application monitoring, logging, and alerting using Google Cloud's operations suite to ensure system health and performance.
  • Collaborate with security teams to perform regular security patching, address vulnerabilities, and implement secure coding best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, lead code reviews, and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a US Citizen possessing an active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • DoD 8570.01-M / DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) baseline certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5+ years focused on designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
  • Proven experience in a complex, cross-functional organization, with at least 3+ years leading project design or technical architecture.
  • Expertise in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Bash).
  • Deep experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes), including management of container registries (e.g., Artifact Registry, Harbor).
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud networking (VPCs, firewall rules, load balancing) and security principles in a GCP environment.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer certification.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Airflow.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
