Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior IaC/Platform Engineer in Germany to evolve the Infrastructure as Code architecture and build secure, scalable cloud provisioning. You will create reusable components, automation mechanisms and standards, while ensuring security and compliance are integrated into provisioning.

You will collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Security, Architecture and Development teams to shape the Cloud Platform and enable self-service experiences for engineering teams.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD and Atlantis.
• Cloud architecture and automation experience.
• Strong ownership, autonomy and communication skills.
• Plus: Terraform Associate or equivalent, plus cloud certifications.

• Evolve the company's Infrastructure as Code architecture
• Create standards, reusable components, and automation mechanisms for secure, standardized, and scalable cloud provisioning
• Contribute to the evolution of an internal Cloud Platform
• Evolve Infrastructure as Code architecture and standards
• Develop and maintain reusable infrastructure modules
• Define standards for module versioning, testing, and lifecycle management
• Structure pipelines for secure IaC execution
• Work with state management, locking, secrets, and environment segregation
• Create mechanisms to prevent manual configuration and infrastructure drift
• Implement infrastructure guardrails and policies
• Integrate security and compliance requirements into provisioning
• Create abstractions that simplify infrastructure consumption for engineering teams
• Evolve the provisioning model to support self-service experiences
• Work closely with consuming teams to understand their primary workflows
• Contribute to the service catalog and infrastructure standards
• Participate in the evolution of the Cloud Platform architecture
