Microchip Technology Inc. in Germany seeks a Senior Client Engagement Manager to identify and build new business, reframing client thinking and co-creating value by delivering the freedom to innovate.

You will manage strategic accounts, engage C‑level contacts, and collaborate with global teams to drive sales across regions, leveraging Microchip’s solutions and insights to win new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business and/or engineering with a strong academic track record.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in semiconductor, embedded systems or related industries.
• Business fluent language skills in German and English.

Your Role

As a Senior Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and building new business. You will be expected to reframe the client’s thinking and build consensus for Microchip’s solutions, co-creating value by delivering clients the freedom to innovate.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and expand strategic accounts, ensuring long-term success and satisfaction
• Identify the key client stakeholders and coach them through Microchip’s solutions whilst supporting them within their organization
• Contribute and participate within a global team environment, to successfully develop and implement sales strategies across client’s divisions and geographical locations
• Communicate effectively with Microchip product divisions providing quantifiable feedback and ROI for their investments in clients
• Build strong partnerships with industrial clients by presenting Microchip’s unique business insights and cutting-edge technologies
• Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients
• Develop compelling business cases to initiate contact with prospects in early sales funnel stages
• Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges

Requirements/Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Experience in semiconductor, embedded systems or related technology industries
• Proven track record in strategic account engagement and business development
• Solid understanding of Datacenter, Edge AI and System-on-Module applications
• Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business requirements
• Building, maintaining and synergizing relationships with our partner network
• Ability to identify emerging market trends and translate them into actionable business opportunities
• Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
• Willingness to travel and engage customers across regions

  Qualifications And Experience

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Business fluent language skills in German and English
  • Relevant market knowledge and industry experience
