WORK Microwave GmbH in Holzkirchen bei München sucht eine/n Senior C++ Software Developer für Test- und Verifikationssoftware in Hochfrequenzanwendungen. Sie entwickeln eigenständig hochwertige Anwendungssoftware für Bereitstellung, Prüfung und Dokumentation von Geräten in analogen, digitalen und optischen Satellitenkommunikationssystemen. Sie arbeiten eng mit der Embedded-Software-Abteilung zusammen bzw.

übernehmen ggf. das komplette Softwareprojektmanagement inklusive Firmware.

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Elektrotechnik, Physik oder vergleichbare Qualifikation.
• Mindestens 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit C/C++, OO-Programmierung.
• Umfangreiche praktische Erfahrung mit dem Qt-Framework.
• Gute Kenntnisse im XML-Dateiformat, idealerweise JSON/YAML.
• Gute Kenntnisse in Git, Unit Testing und Continuous Integration.
• Gute Kenntnisse der HF-Technologie von Vorteil.
• Erfahrung im Bedienen/Steuern von Messgeräten wie Spektrumanalysatoren vorteilhaft.
• Gute Kenntnisse zu I2C/SPI-Bussen vorteilhaft.
• Grundkenntnisse Python 3 von Vorteil.
• Selbstständige Arbeitsweise und analytisches Denkvermögen.
• Gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Konzeption, Implementierung und Wartung hochwertiger Anwendungssoftware zur Bereitstellung, Prüfung und Dokumentation von Geräten für analoge, digitale und optische Satellitenkommunikation.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Embedded-Software-Abteilung bzw. Gesamtleitung von Software-Projekten einschließlich Firmware.
• Eigenständige Durchführung von Prototypentests, überwiegend in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hardwareentwicklung.
• Eigenständige Übergabe von Software-Tools an die Serienproduktion, inklusive Dokumentation und Schulung.
• Konfiguration von Frequenzwandlern anhand von XML-Dateien.
• Implementierung softwarebasierter Datenanalyse mit Anbindung an SQL-Datenbanken zur Qualitätssicherung und Produktionskapazität.
• Gemeinsame Verantwortung für Teamziele: Fristen, Budget, Qualität, Performance, Wartbarkeit, Skalierbarkeit.

For our Application Software Team we are looking for a:

Senior C++ Software Developer for Test and Verification Software for High-Frequency Applications (m/f/x)

What Will Expect You In This Role

• Independent conceptual design, implementation, and maintenance of high-quality application software for provisioning, serial testing, and documentation of devices for analog, digital, and optical satellite communication
• Close collaboration with the embedded software department or, depending on your skill set, management of complete software projects, including device firmware
• Independent execution of prototype tests, mainly in collaboration with the hardware development
• Independent handover of software tools to the serial production department, including documentation and training
• Configuration of frequency converters using XML files
• Implementation of software-based data analysis, including SQL database connection, with the goal of quality assurance and increasing production capacity
• Shared responsibility for the technical team's objectives: adherence to deadlines, budget adherence, quality, performance, maintainability, and scalability

What you need to be successful in this role

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge and at least 3 years of professional experience in software development with C/C++, especially in object-oriented programming
• Extensive practical experience with the Qt framework
• Proficient use of the XML file format, ideally with other serialization formats such as JSON or YAML
• Good knowledge in Git, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Good knowledge of high-frequency technology is a significant advantage
• Experience in operating and controlling measuring instruments, such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc., is desirable
• Good knowledge of the I2C and SPI bus systems is desirable
• Basic knowledge of Python 3 is desirable
• Independent work style and analytical thinking skills
• Good written and spoken German and English
