Mitte is seeking a Backend Engineer to build the robust backend powering our AI creativity platform. You will craft scalable APIs, real-time systems, and infrastructure handling millions of requests, delivering reliable features daily.

As a founding team member, your work will directly influence how our platform scales with demand. You should bring 6+ years of backend experience, Elixir/Phoenix mastery, and strong PostgreSQL skills.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend experience building scalable systems.
• Expert in Elixir/Phoenix with OTP and fault-tolerant design.
• Go experience is a plus and welcome.
• Experience with real-time, WebSocket, and high-concurrency apps.
• Strong PostgreSQL design and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Min. 6 years of strong backend engineering experience with proven ability to build scalable systems
• Expert in Elixir/Phoenix with deep understanding of OTP, GenServers, and fault-tolerant design
• Go experience is a plus
• Experience with real-time systems, WebSocket connections, and high-concurrency applications
