Job summary

Logicc GmbH is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to shape the future of AI applications. You will own backend evolution in a fast-paced, agile team, with a strong emphasis on Go, APIs, and scalable microservices.

Our working language is English, and you’ll have flexibility with hybrid or remote work from Germany. You will lead data modeling, migrations, and architectural decisions while mentoring engineers and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend experience with Go.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling.
• Open mindset toward AI-assisted software development and hands-on experience with coding agents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (working language).
• High ownership and ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges.

Tasks

• Own architectural decisions and drive the technical evolution of our backend stack
• Lead complex database and integration projects, including data modeling and migration strategies
• Design and build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs
• Define the technical approach for new features in close collaboration with internal stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing backend systems with Go
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, distributed systems, and data modeling
• An open mindset toward AI-assisted software development and hands‑on experience with coding agents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (English is our working language)
• A high degree of ownership and the ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and solve complex technical challenges

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership (people management experience is a plus)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker‑based deployments
