Job summary

PER, based in Munich, is seeking a Senior Associate / Vice President to lead deal origination in the DACH region. You will source proprietary deals and build long-term relationships with intermediaries, founders and management teams across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The role involves leading the full origination cycle, coordinating with the European origination strategy, and regular travel within DACH and to London to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior origination role within private equity, growth capital, or investment banking.
• Strong network across the DACH deal community, especially in technology and software.
• Credibility and gravitas to represent the firm in the market.

What the job involves

Our client is looking for a senior associate or vice president to lead its business development in the DACH region. The role isbased in Munich, with regular travel across DACH and to London.

• Being part of the DACH tech, M&A and private equity ecosystem: well connected, well respected and always informed about upcoming deals and investment situations
• Sourcing and originating new platform investments in the region, as well as add-on opportunities for the existing portfolio
• Leading the full origination cycle as a key member of the firm’s European origination strategy, from identifying potential investments to calls and meetings with bankers, management teams and founders
• Supporting the deal team with deal dynamics and market intelligence
• Managing and growing relationships with partners and intermediaries across Europe, and forging new strategic relationships
• Owning the proprietary, outbound part of the pipeline and building long-term relationships with target companies
