Job summary

Vialto is seeking a Senior Associate – Global Mobility Tax to join our team across Berlin, Frankfurt, and Munich, with Hybrid/Remote options. You will prepare and review tax returns for globally mobile employees, advise on assignments and tax treaties, and analyze payroll data to determine liabilities.

The role requires 2+ years in international tax or mobility tax, fluency in German and English, and a strong client focus.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in International Tax / Global Mobility.
Fluency in German and English.
Strong client orientation and ability to explain complex issues.
Team spirit and a willingness to think and work globally.

Responsibilities

Preparation and review of tax returns for globally mobile employees.
Providing tax advice on assignment structures and double tax treaties.
Analyzing compensation and payroll data to calculate tax liabilities.
Advising employees on international tax obligations and tax equalization policies.
Proactive communication with clients, regular updates, and ensuring high service quality.
Supporting the financial management of engagements (e.g. invoicing).
Identifying optimization opportunities and new business prospects within the existing client base.
