Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company partners with a fast-growing German renewable energy platform developing and operating large-scale battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Baden-Württemberg.

The role provides commercial support across construction, commissioning and handover, with emphasis on financial performance and reporting, asset optimization and team development in a collaborative, hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Experience in project management, financial analysis, financial modelling or investment projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data and commercial information.
• Independent, proactive and solution-oriented working style.
• C1/C2 German and good English skills.
• Strong communication skills and interest in improving processes and developing teams.
• Experience in battery storage or renewables (Solar/Wind).
• Background in project development, engineering, construction or asset management.
• Experience with data automation, digital reporting tools or AI-supported analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support for energy infrastructure projects from construction through handover.
• Monitor and optimize financial performance of operational assets.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, cash flow analyses and performance reviews.
• Maintain financial models and business plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset performance.
• Oversee insurance matters and coordinate claims management.
• Improve workflow between project delivery and ongoing operations.
• Support growth of the asset management function.

The company has a multi-GW project pipeline and is backed by major European investors, with multi-million euro expansion plans for their storage portfolio.

The Role & Responsibilities

• Provide commercial support for energy infrastructure projects throughout construction, commissioning and operational handover.


• Monitor and optimize the financial performance of operational assets.
