A leading fashion platform in Berlin is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to enhance scientific decision-making models for pricing. Responsibilities include leading the experimentation platform, driving voucher optimization, and developing machine learning models. Ideal candidates have a PhD background and strong expertise in experimentation, preferably with experience in pricing and e-commerce. As a Senior Applied Scientist within the Pricing Traffic & Trading Tech organization at Zalando we are dedicated to utilizing cutting-edge research to build and refine the scientific models that optimize key commercial decisions for our 10Bn business.
Our team has developed a bespoke experimentation platform that allows us to rigorously test improvements to our core pricing algorithms and conduct large-scale experiments on the effectiveness of commercial incentives like vouchers.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced scientist to join us in a role with a dual focus: enhancing the foundations of our scientific decision‑making while also applying those foundations to critical business problems.
