Job summary

BCG Platinion is seeking a consultant to shape the future by transforming BSS landscapes for leading telecoms. You will analyze processes and systems across Product & Offer Management, Order Management, Customer Service, and Billing & Revenue Management, translating requirements into practical technical solutions.

You bring a degree in IT or economics and 4+ years of experience, with familiarity in TM Forum Frameworx, eTOM, and platforms like Amdocs, Netcracker, Salesforce Industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Economics, or related field with above-average academic performance.
• 4+ years transforming BSS landscapes in consulting or telecom.
• Practical experience in Product & Offer Management, Order Management, Customer Service, and Billing & Revenue Management.
• Familiar with TM Forum Frameworx and eTOM; experience with BSS platforms like Amdocs, Netcracker, Salesforce Industries.
• Experience structuring BSS workstreams in large-scale transformations or stack-exchange programs.
• Understanding end-to-end customer lifecycle processes, charging, rating, and mediation systems.
• Exposure to AI or automation in BSS; able to work with AI tools.
• Strong communication in German and English; able to work in agile, interdisciplinary teams.

You make the difference

• You have earned a degree in (Business) Information Technology, Economics, or a related field with above‑average academic performance
• You have at least four years of relevant experience in transforming BSS landscapes, either in consulting or at a telecommunications company
• You have in‑depth practical experience in the areas of Product & Offer Management, Order Management, Customer Service, and Billing & Revenue Management
• You are familiar with TM Forum Frameworx and eTOM, as well as leading BSS platforms such as Amdocs, Netcracker, or Salesforce Industries
• You have experience structuring and implementing BSS workstreams in large‑scale transformation or stack‑exchange programs
• You understand end‑to‑end customer lifecycle processes as well as charging, rating, and mediation systems
• You can bridge the gap between business process design and technical system implementation and effectively mediate between business, architecture, and delivery teams
• Ideally, you have had some exposure to AI or automation applications in the BSS environment and have hands‑on experience working with AI tools
• You thrive in agile and interdisciplinary teams, are flexible and willing to travel, and communicate confidently in German and English
