Job summary

BCG Platinion is seeking an experienced IT consultant to shape the digital transformation for global clients in Düsseldorf. You will balance strategic IT solutions with client needs and lead cross‑functional teams in agile environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, (business) informatics, or a related discipline with above-average grades.
• At least four years of IT consulting experience including transformation and implementation projects.
• Experience leading project teams of more than three people.
• Familiar with machine learning, cyber resilience, DevOps, agile, AI, and robotics.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and eager to deepen AI fluency.
• Understanding of all development stages for IT organizations and processes.
• Ability to build complex business cases.
• Comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts; willing to travel.
• Proficient in German and English.

• You completed a degree in computer science, (business) informatics, or a related discipline with higher-than-average grades
• You have at least four years of relevant experience in IT Consulting, in the course of which you implemented transformation and implementation projects in terms of both strategy and operations
• You also have experience in leading project teams of more than three people
• You know exactly what the buzzwords machine learning, cyber resilience, DevOps, agile, AI, and robotics mean
• You have initial hands‑on experience working with AI tools and are eager to deepen your AI fluency in a professional context
• You are familiar with all the stages of development for successful IT organizations and IT processes
• You know exactly how to put together complex business cases
• You feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts and are flexible and willing to travel
• You’re good at understanding and communicating complex topics in both German and English
