Senior Agile Consultant for SAP Cloud Infrastructure (f/m/d)

What You’ll Build

Build enterprise cloud infrastructure that provides European data sovereignty and hyperscaler‑grade capabilities. You'll work on SAP Cloud Infrastructure, solving complex distributed systems challenges at scale: multi‑region networking, container orchestration, storage systems, and the APIs that connect them.

Your work will power SAP's production systems and thousands of customer environments. You'll contribute to infrastructure that enables organizations to run mission‑critical applications with the performance and reliability they expect from leading cloud platforms.

In your role as Senior Agile Consultant

• You will guide engineering teams building SAP Cloud Infrastructure through effective agile practices and delivery methodologies that enable rapid, reliable delivery of enterprise cloud services. You'll establish frameworks that help teams efficiently tackle complex distributed systems challenges while maintaining the quality and reliability standards expected by thousands of customer environments.
• Your expertise will shape how cross‑functional teams coordinate to build hyperscaler‑grade capabilities, implementing agile practices that support innovation in multi‑region networking, container orchestration at scale, and storage systems that handle massive traffic spikes. You'll facilitate collaboration across teams working with Go, OpenStack, and Kubernetes to ensure effective delivery of production systems that compete with leading cloud platforms.
• Working within SAP Cloud Infrastructure, you'll design and implement agile processes that accelerate the development of enterprise cloud services that provide European data sovereignty. Your guidance will enable teams to deliver mission‑critical systems that serve SAP's global customer base, directly contributing to how European organizations maintain control over their data while accessing world‑class cloud capabilities.
• Furthermore, you will work support with communication streams and reporting to build the bridge between different engineering teams, this includes coordination & facilitation of meetings to enhance the transparency and remove silos between different engineering teams to discover dependency.
• You will constantly analyse and develop our support related as well as central processes with regard to potential efficiency gain by defining appropriate measures and putting them into practice.
• Lastly, you will support team coordination across a multinational team of 100+ colleagues, fostering an energetic, collaborative culture and continuously improving how we work together.

What You Bring

• Agile Expertise: Expert‑level knowledge of Scrum, Kanban with proven ability to scale agile practices across engineering teams. At least 3+ years of experience with project management tools such as Jira.
• Coaching Excellence: 3+ years of agile coaching experience with strong facilitation skills for sprint ceremonies, retrospectives, and large‑group workshops.
• Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, microservices, and open‑source development patterns. Preferably 3+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure.
• Consulting Skills: Demonstrated ability in workshop design, conflict resolution, and presenting to large audiences with multi‑team coordination experience.
• Cultural Adaptability: Experience working across cultures and languages with strong communication skills for diverse, distributed teams.
• Lean Principles: Solid understanding of value stream mapping, waste elimination, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Microsoft Skills: Strong skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint required, highly skilled in BPMN modelling is a plus.
• Soft skills: Excellent presentation, communication and problem‑solving skills, thorough way of working with accuracy, proactive initiatives, self‑dependent and structured mode of working, high level of commitment and reliability, ready to work in a constantly changing, floating environment, fun working in a multinational team.
• Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus.
