We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our centralized accounting team.

In this role you will report to the Accounting Team Lead and you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations for international companies within the Sportradar Group. Working for a NASDAQ listed entity you will take pride in the robust nature of the controls you operate including the maintenance of a suite of supporting reconciliations that evidence the truth and accuracy of the financial position of the business. Further you will be responsible for quality assurance in local periodical closes and involved in local audit activities.

THE CHALLENGE
  • Independent general ledger bookkeeping for all kinds of accounting tasks maintenance for several entities within Sportradar Group.
  • Month-end / Quarter and Year-end closing tasks and ensuring timely completion.
  • Maintenance of a suite of reconciliations across the balance sheet including bank creditor / debtors prepayments accruals fixed assets settlement (control) accounts.
  • Reviewing reports and settling the P&L accounting entries providing FP&A with high quality information in a timely fashion each month / quarter as applicable.
  • Support with VAT and withholding tax filing and tax compliance.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects.
  • Assist with annual audits.
  • Contribute to the process improvements.
ABOUT YOU
  • You are someone who enjoys getting into details and thrives in fast-paced deadline-driven environments.
  • You bring improvement-focused mindset and confident working across teams and systems.
  • Recognized financial accounting qualification or university degree with special focus on accounting.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong experience working in complex / general ledger accounting ideally in international groups.
  • Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
  • Professional MS Office skills especially Excel D365 knowledge highly appreciated.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Exposure to SOX environment is advantage.
  • Experience and proven knowledge of IFRS is highly welcomed.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
