Job summary

OVAL in Frankfurt am Main is seeking a seasoned client services lead to advise and grow international brand experience accounts. You will own project planning, budgeting, and engagement, working closely with creative and production teams across Europe.

You will collaborate with the Managing Director DACH, travel within Europe, and actively apply AI tools to research, proposals, and reporting while maintaining high client satisfaction.

Your mission

You are the first point of contact for your clients: in consultancy, in project ownership and in commercial management. You make sure our brand experience projects are planned, costed and delivered to an excellent standard, and you actively grow your accounts on the back of the satisfaction you create.

Creative strategy, creative, production and delivery sit with our international experiential team. That leaves you free to focus on what this role is really about: advising your clients with substance and developing them further.

OVAL is a leading European brand experience agency, so you work within a European structure. Working directly with the Managing Director DACH, you look after national and international clients and collaborate closely with creative and production colleagues at our offices in Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris.

How we work

If you create brand experiences, you work best together live. That is why we are on site together, in our office in Frankfurt am Main or at events we deliver for brands like Henkel, TikTok, Mazda and Haglöfs.

Your responsibilities

• Independently advising and proactively developing your clients. You spot opportunities before they arrive as a brief.
• Overall planning of your clients' parallel projects: milestones, resources, dependencies. You always know where a project stands and manage deviations early, with the client and internally.
• Commercial ownership from costing and proposal negotiation through ongoing budget control to the result.
• Close coordination with creative and production across borders.
• Preparing and presenting concepts and proposals to clients.
• Guiding and sparring with junior colleagues.
• Using AI in consultancy, planning and reporting, and actively bringing new applications into the team.

Your profile

• At least six years of experience in client service at an agency in live communication or brand experience.
• Proven strength in project and budget planning.
• The sensitivity to handle demanding clients. You are a strong sparring partner in the team and enjoy developing juniors.
• You raise problems early and openly, even when it is uncomfortable.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine appetite for growing accounts and opening up new potential.
• A solid understanding of the trades involved, enough to oversee projects with confidence.
• Experience in international structures and enjoyment of working across markets.
• Confident use of AI as an integral part of your work, beyond drafting text, e.g. for client and market research, brief analysis or proposal preparation. You check outputs critically and handle client data responsibly. In the interview, you'll show us a workflow you built yourself.
• Fluent German and English. English is our day-to-day working language in European collaboration.
• You live in or near Frankfurt am Main and are willing to travel within Europe.
