KWS LOCHOW GmbH in Wohlde-Bergen, Germany, is seeking a Seed Production Coordinator (m/f/d) for a full-time, permanent role in the Cereals Business Unit. You will support Production & Logistics in implementing and managing production processes and seed multiplication activities across borders.

The role requires a completed degree in agricultural sciences or equivalent, experience in seed production, and willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working, with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Willingness to travel seasonally.
• Knowledge of ERP or goods management systems would be an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organise and manage all production-related activities in hybrid cereals.
• Meet internal and external customer requirements while considering cost and quality in seed multiplication.
• Plan seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed and maintain network of multipliers and processors.
• Collaborate with national Production Research, international SeedTech teams and Breeding to optimise multiplication and production, including trials and pilot productions.
• Support cross-department IT projects and tools (e.g., SAP S/4 Hana).
• Assist in budget planning and calculation of production costs.
• Take on personnel and functional responsibility for hybrids in the future and lead interdisciplinary teams.

In this exciting role, you will support the Production & Logistics team of our Cereals Business Unit in implementing, organising and managing production processes and the associated seed multiplication activities.

Your exciting responsibilities in this role:

• Planning, organising, and managing all production-related activities in the area of hybrid cereals
• Meeting the requirements of internal and external customers while considering cost and quality aspects in the area of high-level seed multiplication
• Planning seed multiplication of pre-basic and basic seed, including maintaining and expanding the network of multipliers and processors
• Collaborating with national Production Research, international SeedTech teams and Breeding to optimise multiplication and production, including trials, pilot productions and multiplication schemes
• Contributing to cross-departmental IT projects and communication tools, such as SAP S/4 Hana etc.
• Supporting budget planning and the calculation of production costs
• Taking on personnel and functional responsibility for hybrids in the future, as well as leading interdisciplinary teams

Bring in your strengths:

• A completed degree in agricultural sciences, agricultural master or commercial training with relevant knowledge and experience in the seed industry
• Experience in arable farming or field trials
• Knowledge of the seed industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of processes in enterprise resource planning or goods management systems would be an advantage
• Willingness to travel seasonally
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
