Job summary

RxREVU, Inc. seeks a Security Systems Engineer to design and implement end-to-end security for satellite constellations, coordinating with suppliers and partners to protect both in-space assets and ground control infrastructure.

You will handle facility security clearances, assess vulnerabilities across hardware, software, and links, and ensure compliance with customer requirements while implementing secure command and telemetry protocols in a collaborative engineering environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree in aerospace engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands‑on security experience; proven track record designing and shipping secure projects.
  • Experience with encryption, secure networking, and threat modeling; familiarity with defense security clearance standards.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.

Your Mission as Security Systems Engineer

Design and implement - together with suppliers and industrial partners - the end-to-end security architecture for reconnaissance satellite constellations.

Protect both in-space orbital assets and on-ground control infrastructure.

Handle facility security clearances and compliance regulations.

Assess vulnerabilities across hardware, software, and communication links.

Ensure compliance with the Customer's requirements.

Work in close cooperation with the engineering teams to implement secure command and telemetry protocols.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • Degree in aerospace engineering, cybersecurity, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of encryption, secure networking, and threat modeling.
  • Experience with aerospace systems security or satellite communications.
  • Familiarity with government or defense facility security clearance standards and accreditation processes.
  • 5+ years of hands-on security experience (or engineering experience in a related role). Proven track record of designing, building, and shipping technical projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to share ideas clearly with both technical and non-technical team members. Collaborative mindset with a willingness to support peers, join code reviews, and share knowledge.
