A leading technology company based in Germany is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance security systems and processes. You will identify and address security issues, design and build security solutions, and conduct technical security assessments. Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.
EIP Off‑Google Security Engineers work on a broad set of efforts focusing on building solutions to improve security across our Acquisitions and Alphabet companies. In this role, you will be working on a wide variety of infrastructures, software designs, and technology stacks from startups that Google acquires and Alphabet companies that Google launches.
With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. You design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance security solutions while working with partner teams.
You will perform technical security assessments, security consulting, and design reviews to highlight risk, helping Google teams and partners improve security.
