Your role and responsibilities
  • You have a completed Master\'s degree in natural sciences, materials science, or engineering, along with several years of experience in the development and testing of metal substrate electrodes.
  • By evaluating and advancing processing technologies, you significantly enhance the efficiency and quality of electrochemical applications.
  • You implement modern analytical characterization methods for process- and test-related quality control and use them to continuously improve electrode performance.
  • Planning, executing, and evaluating application-oriented test campaigns—both internal and external—are part of your responsibilities. You develop suitable test protocols and establish new measurement capabilities.
  • You identify application-specific requirements for materials and electrodes and derive targeted development measures from them.
  • Application-related technical challenges are addressed in a practical and solution-oriented manner, always with a focus on customer requirements.
  • You independently conduct experimental series on laboratory and pilot scale, prepare technical specifications, support equipment commissioning, and systematically evaluate results.
  • Building a scientific-industrial network, as well as documenting, assessing, and presenting your results to internal and external stakeholders, completes your profile.
Your profile
  • Completed university degree (MSc preferred) in natural sciences, materials science, or engineering, along with several years of experience in the development and testing of metal substrate electrodes
  • Strong knowledge of electrochemical processes on metal electrodes, including cell components and substrate requirements
  • Advanced understanding of material and structural properties of electrodes and related analytical characterization methods
  • Experience in creating technical specifications (e.g. requirement documents), conducting FATs, and setting up measurement capabilities
  • Familiarity with agile project methodologies and hands-on experience in project and stakeholder management
  • Proficient in MS Office and fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Independent, proactive working style with a high level of initiative and commitment
  • Willingness to travel and to perform practical work in laboratory and pilot-scale environments
