Job summary

Consulting in Germany seeks an experienced SAP Transportation Management Solution Architect to lead end-to-end TM designs, guiding customers through transformations and delivering architectural leadership from design through delivery.

You will own architecture decisions, translate complex logistics requirements into robust solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, presales, and senior stakeholders in a hybrid work setup. Fluent German and English are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 9 to 10 years of SAP consulting and solution architecture experience focused on SAP TM.
• Functional/technical proficiency shown via at least four full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Proven leadership of SAP transformation project architectures.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end transportation and logistics processes with cross-module integration.
• Excellent design, consulting and stakeholder management, with senior decision-maker exposure.
• Excellent German and English communication and presentation skills; willingness to travel.

In this role, you will shape end-to-end SAP TM solutions, guide customers through complex transformation programmes and provide architectural leadership from solution design through delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, integrated SAP Transportation Management solutions aligned with customers’ business strategies and transformation goals.
• Translate complex transportation and logistics requirements into robust end-to-end solution architectures.
• Own key architectural decisions across SAP TM projects, balancing business needs, integration requirements and long-term solution sustainability.
• Advise senior stakeholders on solution options, architectural trade-offs and opportunities to improve transportation processes.
• Guide consultants and developers across project workstreams to ensure solution quality and consistency.
• Support pre-sales activities through solution design, effort estimation, proposal input and customer presentations.

Qualifications

• At least 9 to 10 years of relevant SAP consulting and solution architecture experience, with a strong focus on SAP Transportation Management.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency demonstrated through at least four full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Proven experience leading the solution architecture of complex SAP transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end transportation and logistics processes, supported by solid cross-module and integration expertise.
• Excellent solution design, consulting and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, together with willingness to travel according to project requirements.
