Job summary

Westernacher Consulting seeks an experienced SAP TM solution architect to lead design of scalable, integrated SAP Transportation Management solutions for global clients. You will translate complex transportation needs into robust end-to-end architectures and own critical architectural decisions across projects.

The role requires strong cross-module integration knowledge, excellent stakeholder management, and fluent German and English.

Qualifications

• 9–10 years of SAP consulting and solution architecture experience.
• 4+ full-cycle SAP implementations demonstrated.
• Led solution architectures for complex SAP transformations.
• Strong end-to-end transportation and logistics process knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in German and English.
• Willingness to travel per project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of scalable, integrated SAP Transportation Management solutions aligned with customers’ business strategies and transformation goals.
• Translate complex transportation and logistics requirements into robust end-to-end solution architectures.
• Own key architectural decisions across SAP TM projects, balancing business needs, integration requirements and long-term solution sustainability.
• Advise senior stakeholders on solution options, architectural trade-offs and opportunities to improve transportation processes.
• Guide consultants and developers across project workstreams to ensure solution quality and consistency.
• Support pre-sales activities through solution design, effort estimation, proposal input and customer presentations.

Qualifications

• At least 9 to 10 years of relevant SAP consulting and solution architecture experience, with a strong focus on SAP Transportation Management.
• Functional and/or technical proficiency demonstrated through at least four full-cycle SAP implementations.
• Proven experience leading the solution architecture of complex SAP transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end transportation and logistics processes, supported by solid cross-module and integration expertise.
• Excellent solution design, consulting and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior decision-makers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English, together with willingness to travel according to project requirements.
