Job Title: SAP Payroll Consultant
Type: Contract (6 months + extension)
Responsibilities
- Lead configuration and optimisation of SAP Payroll (PY-DE) and / or SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
- Analyse and document client payroll processes; perform FIT / GAP analysis and propose best‑practice solutions.
- Implement payroll schemas, rules (PCRs), and wage types, ensuring compliance with German legal and tax regulations.
- Support integrations with SAP HCM, Time Management, FI / CO, and SuccessFactors modules.
- Conduct testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and manage parallel payroll runs for data validation.
- Provide expert‑level support during go‑live and post‑implementation phases.
- Deliver training and knowledge transfer to HR and payroll teams.
- Collaborate with internal consultants and client stakeholders in both German and English environments.
Required experience
- 3+ years’ experience as an SAP Payroll Consultant (PY-DE or ECP).
- Deep understanding of German payroll legislation, social insurance, and tax processes.
- Hands‑on experience in SAP Payroll configuration – schemas, PCRs, and wage types.
- Strong integration knowledge across HCM, Time Management, FI / CO, and SuccessFactors.
- Familiarity with Payroll Control Center (PCC) and SAP S / 4HANA HCM preferred.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate independently in client‑facing projects.
