SAP Master Data Business Architect, Global (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
  • Business Process Design: Lead To-Be business process design with GPOs and architects across workstreams.
  • Business Process Design: Align future state processes with SAP ERP and strategic goals.
  • Business Process Design: Ensure data integrity and process excellence.
  • Change Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Drive change management strategies with the Transformation Office.
  • Change Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate stakeholder communication and post-go-live support.
  • Change Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bridge business needs and IT solutions to align ERP configuration.
  • Technical & Business Alignment: Work with IT to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
  • Technical & Business Alignment: Align ERP configurations with functional and technical needs in coordination with SIer and Solution Architects.
  • Master Data Management (CRUD): Support master data CRUD operations and quality assessments.
  • Master Data Management (CRUD): Ensure data consistency across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, QM).
  • Master Data Management (CRUD): Collaborate with MDM stakeholders on governance and transformation.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Lead UAT efforts to validate business processes.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Partner with Sub-PM and users to resolve functional issues.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Develop and deliver end-user training.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with SIer to create effective, user-focused training materials.
  • Data Migration & Quality: Oversee data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration.
  • Data Migration & Quality: Enforce governance for consistent, high-quality master data.
  • Compliance & Validation: Ensure ERP solutions comply with QMS, regulatory, and industry standards (e.g., FDA).
  • Compliance & Validation: Oversee data security and validation of sensitive data practices.
Your Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years in SAP ERP implementations, with a focus on Master Data Management.
  • Experience as a Business Architect or Project Manager in large-scale, cross-functional ERP projects.
  • Strong understanding of ERP-related industry standards, QMS, and system validation (especially in regulated environments).
  • Background in MedTech, Biotech, Health Tech, FMCG, or CPG preferred.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with Agile IT environments.
  • Strong analytical skills to resolve data issues and process dependencies.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority and communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of ERP project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Deep understanding of MDM frameworks, governance, and data stewardship.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data quality assessment, profiling, validation, mapping, de-duplication, and consolidation.
  • Clear, concise communication skills—verbal and written—with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Active listening, assertiveness, and attention to detail.
