A leading consultancy is seeking an SAP Digital Manufacturing Consultant for a S/4HANA Public Cloud project in the automotive sector. The role involves defining the Digital Manufacturing scope and supporting implementation across multiple European sites. Candidates must have experience with SAP DM and be fluent in English, with an understanding of automotive environments. This is a mostly remote position requiring occasional travel to Serbia and offers a full-time role from April 2026.

SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Consultant – S/4 Public Cloud

This is a rare opportunity to join an S/4HANA Public Cloud programme at a very early stage and help shape how Digital Manufacturing is adopted across multiple European production sites. You’ll work closely with a specialist Public Cloud consultancy and a global automotive manufacturer, influencing core decisions around standardisation and best-practice adoption from Discovery onwards.

Start date: 20 January 2026
End date: 15 April 2026 (extensions expected to October 2026; programme runs to end of 2027)
Location: Mostly remote, with 1–2 short onsite trips (3 days) to Serbia
Utilisation: 2.5 days/week initially → full-time from April

What you can expect

• YOU join during Discovery and Explore, helping define the Digital Manufacturing scope rather than joining post-design.

• YOU support an S/4 Public Cloud implementation using SAP best practices and standard processes.

• YOU will define and configure solutions for production execution and operations

• Youwill help to define integrations between SAP DM and S/4 Public Cloud

• YOU work across four production sites (Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Italy) with a harmonised scope.

• YOU contribute ~30 days between January–April, then step into a full-time role as Explore begins.

• YOU collaborate closely with the Solution Architect and core transformation team.
