A Day in the Life

The German Cardiac Surgery Operating Unit is split into two teams. The Heart Surgical Therapies (HST) team and the Extracorporeal Therapies team (ECT). This role will focus solely on the HST product portfolio to include Surgical Valves Annuloplasty AF treatment product lines. For this role you will be expected to live in the Würzburg area to cover the central eastern region of Germany.

Responsibilities
  • Direct sales responsibilities for the Thüringen & Middle East Territory to achieve agreed AOP (Annual Operating Plan) targets and increasing market share in Surgical Valve Replacement Surgical Valves Repair and Atrial Fibrillation products.
  • Building strong ethical business relationships with customers to ensure usage of our products and gain greater market share leading through clinical selling.
  • Lead with multiple stakeholders selling activities within the territory and identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Working mainly in the Theatre environment supporting and advising Surgeons and theatre personnel.
  • Present in‑service and sell products and services to current and potential clients.
  • Prepare presentations proposals and sales contracts.
  • Collaborate with local marketing to execute on national marketing objectives
  • Use Account Planning tools to develop and execute account strategies tactics and actions - CRM database.
Required Knowledge and Experience
  • Previous measurable sales experience
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Business fluent German skills and good / very good English skills
  • Full Clean driving licence

We prefer if you hold Bachelors or Advanced university degree. Also we would prefer if you had previous cardiac surgery / cardiovascular sales experience or similar experience working within hospitals sales and experience in theatre.
