Responsibilities
- Sales Activities & Development: Various sales and commercial activities to meet corporate revenue, tonnage, and yield objectives
 
- Maintain and develop productive business relationships with customers (for example: freight forwarders)
 
- Identify and develop new customer segments (road feeder, offline etc)
 
- Negotiate mid- longer-term volume and rate agreements, as well as conditions of contract with existing and new customers according to Cargolux’s process & standards
 
- Pro-actively act on the daily “need for cargo” by following the daily quotation success ratios, liaise with the Inhouse Sales Manager and execute defined actions
 
- Periodic communication with customers to ensure visibility and awareness of Cargolux’s Network, Products, value-added services, and opportunities
 
- Planning and executing of periodic customer visits and follow up through CRM reporting
 
- Promote Cargolux’s digital sales channels; set targets and liaise feedback
 
Customer Portfolio Management: Optimize the business performance
- Preparing periodic sales growth plans for discussion with Sales Manager Germany
 
- Safeguard the set sales processes in accordance with Cargolux’s standards and SOP’s
 
- Structurally measure customer performance and hold right-sizing discussions
 
Requirements
- Apprenticeship or Bachelors Degree in the logistic sector is required
 
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience
 
- Good knowledge of the logistic market in Frankfurt
 
- Responsible and reliable, strong communication skills
 
- Fluent in German and English is required
