Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company, is looking for a Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Development and implementation of sales strategies to increase sales.
  2. Active acquisition of new customers domestically and internationally, as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  3. Identification and analysis of new market trends and technologies in gear technology; conducting market and competitive analyses to identify potentials and risks.
  4. Providing advice and support to customers on technical and commercial questions related to gear cutting machines.
  5. Conducting product presentations, technical training, and sales events at customer locations and international trade fairs.
  6. Collaborating closely with internal departments in Japan and the USA to ensure optimal customer service and successful project execution.
Project Management
  1. Preparing and negotiating offers, calculating, and concluding contracts in coordination with management and project teams.
  2. Ensuring successful implementation of customer projects and providing after-sales support.
Qualifications
  • Educational qualifications: Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Professional experience: Several years in sales, key account management, or application technology related to gear cutting tools and/or machines.
  • Languages: Very good knowledge of German and English.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of gear and transmission technology, including technical requirements and processes.
  • Proven success in selling machine tools in the gear cutting industry and/or developing new markets and customers.
