How You'll Help Us Connect the World

The Sales Manager Cabinet and Power solutions will be responsible for driving sales of telecom and other cabinets, power products and related infrastructure solutions to Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), Tower Companies, OEMs and adjacencies (including but not limited to, Utility, Power, Transport, and Private Network sectors) in Europe. These businesses are part of the Cabinet and Power group of ANDREW, an Amphenol company, a US based public telecommunications and infrastructure equipment supplier.

The role requires a proven sales professional with deep knowledge of telecom site infrastructure, including outdoor and indoor cabinets, AC / DC power systems, backup solutions, hybrid / renewable energy solutions and site energy management.

This is a highly customer-facing position with accountability for growing new business, winning tenders / frameworks, and expanding existing accounts.

The Sales Manager will play a key role in building strong customer relationships, positioning our solutions and ensuring revenue growth in a competitive telecom infrastructure market.

You Will Make an Impact By
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow market share for Cabinet and Power Solutions in the European telecom sector.
  • Drive new business with Mobile Network Operators, Tower Companies, OEMs and adjacent industries (e.g., utilities, transport, private network providers).
  • Identify customer needs, pain points and opportunities in network deployment, power reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Identify potential new products and business areas
  • Position the company's Cabinet and Power portfolio, highlighting advantages in total cost of ownership (CAPEX & OPEX).
  • Lead the sales cycle : prospecting, qualification, proposal, RFP / tender response, negotiation and closing.
  • Maintain and expand long-term customer relationships, leveraging existing contacts in the telecom industry.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product management to ensure solutions align with customer requirements.
  • Forecast sales performance, manage pipeline, and deliver on monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Act as customer advocate within the organization, supporting product roadmap and strategy.
Required Qualifications for Consideration
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related field.
  • Experience : Minimum 10 years of sales experience in telecom infrastructure, with a proven track record in selling telecom cabinets, power systems or energy solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge : Strong understanding of site infrastructure, including outdoor / indoor enclosures, AC / DC power, hybrid and renewable energy systems, battery backup, cooling and monitoring.
  • Customer Network : Established relationships with key decision-makers at European MNOs, Tower Companies and OEMs.
  • Sales Skills : Skilled in consultative / solution selling, account penetration and complex deal negotiation. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding multi-million revenue targets.
  • Communication : High level written and verbal communications skills, able to be the external face of ANDREW Cabinet and Power Solutions in Europe and deliver customer and industry presentations and messaging.
  • Language skills : English as a working language, capability to have business discussions in German is highly valued
  • Adaptability : Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • Self-starter, persistent and highly motivated. Strong communication and presentation skills. Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Team player who will work with and support PLM, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Customer Services and other support functions in the execution of the corporate business plan.
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis.
  • Understanding of the wider Energy related topics, e.g. Energy Transition, Microgrids, Arbitration, etc.
