The DACH Area Sales Account, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director and to the Asset Trading Manager, will be responsible for maintaining and developing client relationships within the geographic area to drive sales and revenue growth. He/she will identify new business opportunities, achieve sales targets, and provide customer support, while also monitoring market trends and competitors’ activity.

About the Role

The DACH Area Sales Account will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by developing and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and objectives, contributing to overall company revenue goals.
  • Understand and address customer needs, providing product demonstrations, training, and support to ensure satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities and challenges.
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, maintain accurate records of customer interactions, and manage sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications
  • Languages: German native, fluent English, additional languages (Italian) appreciated.
  • Education: High School / University Degree in Chemistry or Engineering.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in sales and/or technical areas (Paints, Inks, and Plastics).
