Your responsibilities
- Manage the commercial aspects of existing contracts and identify new business opportunities in line with the company’s sales strategy.
- Act as a key member of the project team, responsible for all commercial activities related to assigned projects.
- Represent the company’s interests toward customers while ensuring internal alignment with customer expectations.
- Define pricing strategies for new business and prepare quotations (piece price, tooling, D&D) in the required format.
- Maintain and improve margins through engineering change management, productivity studies, and contract reviews.
- Liaise with customer purchasing centers and secure customer orders.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and support plants with exceptional customer requests (e.g. overtime, quality replacements, color changes).
- Contribute to achieving targets defined in the annual performance review.
Your profile
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in a similar sales or commercial role, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Solid financial and analytical understanding to manage quotations and pricing negotiations.
- Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
